Holiday Isle - St. Augustine Beach

The Oldfield Tower is located in Turn Four on the Front Stretch of the track. You can see around the entire track. Pit road is located more toward the Tri-Oval. You would be able to see the entrance to pit road. A lot of action takes place as the cars come off Turn Four.

The Keech Tower is located on the Front Stretch toward Turn One. It is located between the Lockhart and Segrave Towers to the Turn One side of the start/finish line. You can see around the entire track.

The DePalma Tower is located on the front stretch toward Turn Four. It is located between the Oldfield and Weatherly Towers. You will be able to see around the entire track and can see pit road entrace.

The Segrave Tower is located on the front stretch toward Turn One. It is located between the Roberts and Keech Towers. You can see the entire track and can see pit road exit.

The Sprint Fanzone Pass is a Pre-Race Pass that allows fans to walk across the track surface, over the grassy Tri-Oval area and onto Pit Road during pre-race activities. Garage access is not included but you can look into the garage area and even see teams setting up their pit stalls and staging cars prior to the race

Excellent tickets for the Daytona 500 are in the Lockhart Tower. The Lockhart Tower is on the Front Stretch toward Turn One. You can also upgrade to the Oldfield Tower on the Front Stretch toward Turn Four. You can also upgrade to the Segrave, Keech or Depalma Towers based on availability. You can see the entire track from these lower towers which are located along the front stretch. You can also upgrade to the Weatherly or Roberts Towers or the Earnhardt or Petty Towers if you want 2-day tickets for Saturday and Sunday (Please see our 2 day weekend packages)

Originally a course that went 1.5 miles down the highway, turned and then came back the same distance on the beach, the evolution of the "World Center of Racing" began with the opening of what is now Daytona International Speedway. Opened in 1959, this 2.5 mile tri-oval superspeedway is home to the "Great American Race"- the Daytona 500, the biggest, richest and most prestigous race in America. With the capacity to seat more than 168,000 fans, Daytona International Speedway offers banking of 3 degrees on the straightaways and 31 degrees in the turns- the most possible before the paving machines actually tipped over.

Drafting was birthed at this track when Junior Johnson discovered he could run faster by tucking his car in close behind another rather than running alone. DIS's Daytona 500, NASCAR's biggest event has hosted many of the sport's greatest moments and possibly its greatest tragedy. In 1998 Dale Earnhardt took the checkered flag after his 20th attempt at the coveted title. Just three years later, the track took his life in a turn 4 wreck on the final lap of the race.

The infamous 2.5 mile Daytona International Speedway promises close side-by-side competition and fast speeds approaching 200 miles per hour along with historical moments all along the way.

Thursday: The unique Daytona 500 qualifying races: the Gatorade Duel, the two most exciting 60 lap sprints in NASCAR will be held today. Bus transfers are not provided today, however, race tickets are optional.
Friday: You will arrive at the Holiday Isle-St. Augustine (other arrival dates are available). The Camping World Truck Series race, the NextEra Energy Resources 250 is at the track tonight. Bus transfers are not provided, however, race tickets are optional.
Saturday: At the Daytona International Speedway today is the Nationwide Series race, the Camping World 300. The final Sprint Cup practice sessions and "happy hour" are also today. Tickets and track transfers are not included in this package. If you are interested in attending the Nationwide Series race, please see our 2 day weekend packages.
Sunday: The start of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup season is here! Our deluxe motorcoach departs early Sunday morning for the stress free ride to Daytona International Speedway for the Great American Race, the 2012 Daytona 500. After an electrifying day of racing, sit back and relax while we take you back to the hotel.
