What is your Covid-19 Booking/Reservation Policy?
For all new bookings made after November 1, 2020 for our 2021 Packages, only a small deposit (see individual packages for deposit) will be required to confirm your package. 2nd deposit dates have been suspended until further notice and your deposit will hold your package until it has been determined by the Venue and the Sanctioning Body (NASCAR, INDYCAR, NFL and Etc.) that the event will happen with fans in attendance. At that time, we will contact our clients for additional payment for their package. Final payment could be due as early as 45 days prior to 2 weeks prior to the event. Final payments are currently defaulted to 30 to 45 days prior to the event for the 1st half of the season, some exceptions may apply. If the event is cancelled or held without fans, our clients may request a full refund for the deposit paid or a full credit for a future event. Once the event has been confirmed from the venue and with our clients, our normal terms and cancellation policy will apply.
What does DBL, TPL, QUAD and SGL mean?,
DBL stands for double, TPL stands for triple, QUAD stands for quad, SGL stands for single. This is the occupancy level of the hotel room.
What is DBL, TPL, QUAD and SGL occupancy?
Our packages prices are per person based on the number of people sharing a room. DLB or double occupancy means two sharing a room, TPL or triple occupancy means three sharing a room, QUAD or quad occupancy means four sharing a room and of course, SGL or single occupancy means one person in a room.
How do I make race tour reservations?
Simply call 1-800-782-8222 or fill out the reservation form on-line and click submit or you can print and fax it to 912-236-9157 or mail to P. O. Box 14512, Savannah GA 31416 along with your deposit. A minimum deposit of $200 per person is required to hold your reservation and must be received within 7 days of you making your reservation. Full payment will be due if your reservations are made within 60 days of your race tour.
When is the final payment due?
Final payment of your race package is due 60 days prior to your tour. We can automatically charge the final payment when it is due for your convenience. Just let us know.
When do I receive my tickets?
Your race tickets along with a tour booklet with all applicable documents including airline tickets, hotel descriptions and itineraries are sent to arrive approximately two weeks prior to your trip. Some exceptions may apply. Your tickets/documents are shipped by Federal Express. It is possible to have your tickets held at the hotel for you also.
What if I need to cancel?
You will need to call in the cancellation as soon as possible. Refunds are issued in accordance with our cancellation policy. Requests for refunds must be made in writing.
Are airfare tickets included with your packages?
No. Airfare is separate from our NASCAR Travel Packages. It is highly recommended that you do not purchase airline tickets until the NASCAR Race Dates are confimed by the release of the Offiicial NASCAR Schedule even though we may offer select packages prior to the NASCAR Schedule release. We can not be held liable for airline tickets purchased before the Official NASCAR Schedule release.
Is travel insurance or travel protection available?
Sure! As a matter of fact, we highly recommend it. Insurance will prevent you and your family & friends from financial loss in the unforeseen event you would have to cancel your tour at the last minute or during the trip for covered reasons. You can access the travel insurance information from Travel Guard. There is a link at the bottom of our reservations form.
Can I purchase race packages for a gift?
We have many race fans and corporate clients who purchase race packages for incentives or gifts. We also have gift certificates available for purchase. Whatever the occasion, celebrate it at the races!
Where are the race tickets located?
Race ticket locations are listed on each package. Since we have been doing this for over 20 years, we renew or upgrade tickets every year and maintain great tickets at each track. We do not offer subpar tickets. We understand that you, our clients, want a top quality product and our ticket locations reflect that belief.
What type of hotels do you use?
We strive to keep our quality high and use only deluxe or first class hotels in most cases such as Marriotts, Hiltons, Sheratons and etc. Some of our packages offer mid level hotels due to the availability of hotels at that location, such as Bristol where hotels are tough to come by. But we never use economy hotels or hotels that may not meet our quality standards.
What time do we arrive at the track on race day?
The weekend race schedule generally dictates our departure times; however, for most Monster Energy Cup races we arrive 4 to 5 hours prior to start of the race. For the companion series race, we generally arrive 3 to 4 hours prior to the start of the race. This allows plenty of time for souvenir shopping, pit road visits and hospitality tents. The buses remain open until 30 minutes prior to the start of the race for your convenience. You may hang out at the bus if you choose and you can always bring your souvenirs and leave them securely on the bus during the race.
Can I purchase Options without purchasing a complete Race Package?
The answer is unfortunately no. We make options available only to our tour participants (Those that have purchased full Travel Packages). We make options available at very affordable prices but only for our customers that have purchased one of our full Travel Packages....that's one of the benefits of purchasing our tours and packages. We do not have inventory for non-tour package participants. If you wish to purchase one of our options, you have to purchase our entire package. Options are set up as just that: options that you can add on to your Travel Package but can not purchase separately.
What are race scanner rentals?
Don't just watch the excitement, hear it! You hear the judgment calls and the strategies being plotted by your favorite driver and crew chief as they happen. Listen to all the drivers, MRN & PRN radio behind the scenes and NASCAR officials. All uncensored. You’ve never experienced racing like this before!
We'll have your scanner programmed and available for you prior to the race. A limited number of scanners are available for each event. Be sure to reserve your scanner well in advance. Call us for Scanner rates or to reserve your scanner at 1-800-782-8222. We only rent scanners to our tour participants....ie you must purchase a complete travel package to order options such as scanners.
What is a V.I.P./Hospitality package?
Generally speaking, a hospitality package includes admission into a hospitality tent which has tables, chairs, close circuit TV monitors and private rest room facilities. Some of the features include a lunch or dinner, continental breakfast, beverages, entertainment, souvenir giveaways, sometimes a driver appearance and other miscellaneous items. Hospitality packages will vary from track to track. These services are rendered by Speedway personnel, not There And Back Again Adventures staff, therefore TABA claims no responsibility for the quality of service or product provided.
What time do we return after the race?
In most cases we ask that our clients return directly to the bus after the race is over. Don't worry, you will be able to see all the races. We just ask that you walk directly back to the bus after the race. Most tracks have preferred parking for the buses and they can exit quickly after the race and avoid traffic major traffic jams.
Are group discounts available?
Yes. Groups of 20 or more will receive a discount. There may occasions or events when 10 or more qualifies for a group discount. Be sure to call to receive a quote.
Are discounts available for children?
Yes. We offer a discount for children under 16 years of age staying in the same room as their parents or guardians. The discount varies with each race tour, but generally is $20.
