This is a great location if you are planning to fly into Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA) to attend one of our Martinsville race packages. Our Martinsville Race tickets for the Cup Series are in the upper level of the Bill France Tower in Turn Four or you can upgrade to the First Turn Tower. The Bill France Tower grandstand has an outstanding view of the track and pits because of its location on Turn Four. This enables you to see the whole track and the pits without having to turn your head from side to side and you do not stand up as much because of the angle. We also have a ticket upgrade option available to the First Turn Tower which is located across from where most of the top qualifiers pit. The view from the First Turn Tower is the same as the Bill France Tower except for the pit locations. Most of the top qualifiers will pit toward the exit of pit road at Martinsville. Pit Road exits onto the track in Turn 2.

Martinsville Speedway
Opened in 1947 and having hosted the inaugural NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series race in 1948, Martinsville Speedway certainly is seeded in rich racing history. This .526 mile "paperclip" shaped oval is referred to as "two drag strips with a turn around on each end". The track has not changed a bit since its inception except for the paving of the track surface, which is 55 feet wide and offers 20 degree banking in the turns. Located just three miles south of Martinsville, VA, the Speedway is the only original NASCAR sanctioned track still running Cup Series events.

Staff is efficient in the info receive when I call for reservations! The bus trip to and from the tracks are fun, informative, and the bus drivers are great, the tour guide helps everyone with tips and info about where they should go for seats, shopping at the trailers, info about the track, concessions! There and Back Again is the only company my husband will be with! Fantastic company!

Josh (TABA Tour Rep) did a great job. This weekend was difficult to manage with the Xfinity race started and rained out on Friday night and the same thing happening to the Cup race on Saturday night. Josh got buy-in from all of us to delay departure on Saturday afternoon by 2 hours so we wouldn't have to sit in the bus during the rain an extra 2 hours. Then Josh worked with the TABA staff to get some extra Xfinity tickets for those who didn't have them for Sunday prior to the Cup race. Have always had good experiences with TABA even during this pandemic. They go out of their way to accommodate their clients. The tour reps have all been very good. Dixon and Imogene (TABA Staff) have been very nice to work with on the phone when I've had to apply credits to another race or clarify invoices. I've dealt with Imogene enough over the years that Annette and I consider her a personal friend!

We've made multiple trips with TABA. The convenience of getting to and from the tracks and avoiding the traffic is more than worth the not that expensive cost of the trips. Seating at the tracks is great and hotels have been excellent. Our tour guides have been knowledgeable and always available to answer questions and point out what to do and see. This was our first time to use "there and back again". I would highly recommend this company to everyone and will definitely use them again. Chris was our TABA tour guide and he made the trip worth our time and money. Race tickets were outstanding! Our seats were in turns 3 and 4 and we had a great view of the entire track. Much of the passing and hard racing happened right in front of us. Excellent breakfast included in the race package. Imogene (TABA Tour Representative) was terrific. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She made everyone feel like they were her best friend and paid attention to all the folks on the trip. Departure schedule was perfect. We had plenty of time at the track and we also parked in the perfect location offering easy access to the track and all the amenities. This was our best experience ever with traveling to a NASCAR event. The Martinsville spring race tour is already in our plans for 2016.

The hotel was fantastic. A person could not ask for more! The overall value of the package was outstanding. I think the cost was really reasonable and it is so nice to leave the driving and organizing of the trip to someone else. When booking the reservation, Shane, was very friendly and gave me all the information I needed for the package. Everything was well organized. The seats at the track were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day even though it started out a little on the cool side. Would definitely use There and Back Again Adventures for any other races we go to. Again it's so nice to leave the organizing to them.
