I know that each client has a story, generally unique to his/her own situation. Ours was to do something really special for our son on the occasion of his 40th birthday. He's a NASCAR fan and has said for years that Bristol was the track he wanted to go to. Since neither of us had ever been to a NASCAR race, this was obviously the thing to do. A friend gave me a copy of a NASCAR magazine which had your ad in it (along with others).
I made a number of calls, searched the Internet, eBay and other sources, and quickly came back to T.A.B.A. From my initial contact on I felt as though I was more than just another customer and that convinced me that this was the way to go. Every contact with Imogene and Amy provided accurate, cheerful, prompt responses.
We presented our son with the details just before Christmas '06 and then the long wait for August, and all the planning for the trip, all with great anticipation. Finally we made the drive from Syracuse NY to Bristol and at the motel desk met Amy, who almost immediately said, "Oh, you're Art 1 and Art 2!" From there on I can only say our highest expectations were met, if not exceeded, from start to finish. Race tickets, hotel and staff, transfers, all just great. The added value of the bus availability at BMS was a great bonus.
Our ride back north was without incident, obviously filled with talk of the races, but also of just how well T.A.B.A put it all together for us. Without hesitation we would (and will) recommend T.A.B.A. to anyone who is interested.

A situation arose where another tour company "hi-jacked" one of our buses prior to the Nextel Cup race leaving us without a bus. The letter below is one of many positive responses we received to the situation and how professional our tour representatives are under very difficult situations. The other tour company departed earlier than us and apparently their tour representatives were too inept to know which bus company they had and the number of buses. Our clients actually arrived at the track 2 hours later than scheduled but still 3 hours 45 minutes prior to the race start time thanks to our professional tour representative. The letter below is one of several positive responses we received for the performance of our tour representative, Rex Bowlin under very trying conditions. We must credit Donnie Watson, our other tour representative for aiding Rex, once Rex's bus arrived at the track.
"We just returned from the Richmond race, where we had an extremely good time. I'm sure you heard about the bus incident on Saturday.
We just wanted to say that we think Rex (There And Back Again Adventures tour representative) did a great job. He maintained his composure throughout the day. I'm sure he was extremely frustrated, but at all times he never let it show. He was successful in arranging transportation for us all in spite of everything, and we think he served There And Back Again well throughout the whole time.

I never really got to talk much to the other tour guides but they were great from the little I did get to talk to them. All the tour guides always had a smile on their face and a hand to help out. Our hotel room was great especially considering we were just 3 blocks from all the action with Trackside, concerts, etc.
We definitely will go with TABA when we go back to Charlotte in 2008. Our little girl is so excited to go to the 'race' when she is 6 years old. She offered to give me all the pennies in her piggy bank so we could go now. TABA made our experience so relaxing and FUN! By the way, Donnie, don't forget my Mountain Dew in 2008? We know it's a word that's used a lot by you guys but it really is the only way to describe our first trip to Nascar (& first visit to the USA) to see the All-Star & Coca Cola 600 races with TABA.
As you know, we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary & wanted to soak up the Nascar experience as much as possible. We are delighted to say that we certainly achieved that goal and in fact the trip exceeded all our expectations.
Having taken in the Pit Stop Challenge (only a few hours after we landed from our 9hrs flight on Wednesday!), truck practice on Thursday, truck race on Friday, All-Star race on Saturday, race shop visits on Monday & Tuesday, visit to Bristol Speedway on Wednesday (boy that was a long drive!), Charlotte Speedstreet and the "Cars" movie premiere on Friday (a must-see when it is released), Busch race Saturday and Nextel race Sunday I am sure you can imagine it has taken us quite a few days to recover since arriving home in the UK early on Wednesday morning!!
Since our very first (tentative) enquiry back in July last year, you have been very helpful (& patient!), answering our many questions very quickly and in a professional but friendly manner.
We honestly cannot fault your organization of our trip. The hotel was great, the tickets were delivered to our room as promised, the Veranda seats at Lowe's for all the races were great, coach transfers efficient and as for your rep Donnie ....... what is under that hat? We were made to feel so welcome by him and indeed everybody else on the tours - it really was great fun.
We went THERE AND now we want to come BACK AGAIN for another ADVENTURE with you!
